Questions
Does it work without internet?
Capture, the hiding modes, the timer and spaced repetition all run on your device with no signal. Scoring a recitation uses your phone's own speech recognition, which works offline on most devices — where your language has no offline model your phone falls back to its speech service, and that needs a connection. The app tells you on screen when that happens.
Is my voice recorded or uploaded?
No recording is ever created, and no audio reaches Speakbound — we run no server that could receive it. Speakbound asks your phone to transcribe locally, which is what happens on most devices; where your language has no offline model, your phone falls back to its own speech service, the same one the system keyboard uses, and the app tells you on screen while it does.
How is this different from a teleprompter?
A teleprompter keeps you reading. Speakbound hides the words so you learn them, then checks that you actually know them.
Will it be on Android?

What can I memorize with it?
